In BGG I have it picked that I prefer to play with the color green. Which doesn't matter, if the starting colors do not mean anything. Everytime I have played Wolves, I have played the Forest Wolves. In games where starting colors is assymetrical, they have disabled the player color preference option. I would suggest doing that with The Wolves, so players are not always playing the same color every game (if that is in fact what is happening.... I have played 3 games so far, and all three games I got Forest Wolves everytime.
