Let me explain. In Ark Nova, some actions trigger additional actions. During some turns, you receive bonus actions such as picking up new cards or choosing other actions. Some turns are very quick because you can plan ahead, but on others, you cannot anticipate all the bonus actions (sometimes up to ten with two animals and their construction bonuses, action bonuses, card bonuses, etc.). Everyone is aware of this. However, this is the third time I have been kicked out on the last turn, and it's because I was winning. I won the game even without my last turn, but Board Game Arena (BGA) marked me as a "loser" due to a timeout, and the other player kicked me out.
During my last turn, I played two animals and an eagle, which gave me another round. It was nearing the end of the game, so I had to carefully consider which action would benefit me more: building (with only one empty space remaining, but providing an additional 7 points to my secret card, which was worth 2 points for conservation+) or forming an association. I had just created another predator, my fourth one, which could earn me an additional 4 conservation points, plus the bonus action we receive, and an additional conservation point for each money spent. Deciding between these options cannot be done in a split second. My opponent was aware of this but, unhappy with losing, took advantage of this aspect of the game. I find this behavior unfair. Completely unfair.
Ark Nova has short turns and some very long ones when bonus actions are involved, and they should be scored differently. No one should have the ability to eject another player on the last turn to avoid losing. It's not good sportsmanship, and it shouldn't be allowed. -

It should not be allowed to kick players out in last turn, he might have not kicked me, but kicked the other player which made him "win" as well, and it is not fair AT ALL, i had more than a 100 points, the expelled player was around 80 and this guy, with 60 points, took advantage of this aspect of the game so we can split victory with me, forcing the system to not give me all of the points i was going to get because of this looser action.
I think they fixed it when the game progression is at 100% Yesterday but not sure if it covers more cases
