In the real game the workers seem to have some 3d features which make them more distinguishable which doesn´t work as well in a digital from above perspective. Especially the white player color and soft cheeses are way to similar (thinking I paired up in bistro when it was just another soft cheese from another player next to it).
I think inverting the colors on placed workers could go a long way, Let the big chunk be the player color and the circle in the middle be the type of cheese.
I know the player colors are supposed to represent the french flag in some way but really think a player option to switch the white and blue player colors to (green and purple?) would be great.• Hvilken browser bruger du?

I respect the fidelity to the physical game components, but white markers are very difficult to distinguish from empty spaces in a two-dimensional onscreen representation (black has similar problems). (FWIW, I don't like white tokens in physical games either, especially if they're just discs or cubes.)

It's hard to work out whose cheese is whiose. The cheese shape is the dominant object, and the colour of the circular disc that 1, 2 or 3 sits in is secondary.
You could consider texturing the white cheese with yellow stripes (as in real-life Brie) to remind the players that a white cheese segment is a cheese and not a player?
But if all else fails then changing the white player colour to somethign different (purple or green would be fine) would solve the duplication of whites problem.
