I Was wondering if anybody else seems to have this happen? I have noticed that some corporations almost "come" with cards that go with that corporation. I have noticed this at probably 90% of games I have played. When you pick Tharsis Republic you almost ALWAYS get a card that lets you put a city into play. When you play Ecoline, you almost ALWAYS draw cards that increase your plant production. It's very prevalent.
Example of my last game:
Me: Ecoline
Opponent: Tharsis Republic
I took some pictures and when I took this picture, these are the cards we had in hand or had already played.
Me: Cards I had (just in hand, not counting what I had already played) with Ecoline - Robraked Ammonia Asteroid - Includes giving me plant production, Nitrogen rich Asteroid - Includes giving me plant production, Giant Ice Asteroid - Includes me taking plants away from opponent, Large Convoy - Includes giving me plants, Heather - Increases my plant production, Tundra Farming - Increases Plant production, Kelp Farming - Increases my plant production.... 7 of my 11 cards had to do with plants.
Opponent: Had at least 8 cities on the board by end of game. 5 of those cities came from cards that allows player to place a city (sorry I cannot see the exact names of his cards). Two of those City cards were Noctis City and the city card that allows you to place a city next to two others (so he had 4 cities all touching each other all in a row (I know that is allowed with his cards he had, but how did he draw ALL of those cards?). I didn't stand a chance in this game.
Sidenote: I have a picture of the same game and my opponents had +25 and +28 MC production and I had +2 MC production. So they were able to spend (basically) as much money as they wanted and I was having to pass because I had no money. I did not see hardly ANY cards that increase my MC production (because I was drawing plant cards) until almost endgame. How do I not see MC production cards and my opponents have MOST of them?? Seems VERY lopsided most of the time and I dont think the cards are randomized as well as they could be. Once again ALMOST ALWAYS I choose Tharsis Republic when I have the option, because I know that if I do, I will most likely have a card or two on first or second draw that allows me to place a city and I can almost always take Mayor very early.
PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS! Love the game, and appreciate it being on here!
