I had the same situation. I thought it wasn't forbidden as the game allows it, but I read the rules and now I have doubts. The description of this card says that "Mother Nature will STILL move". Since Nature can only move clockwise, I don't think this card should give you a special case to move backwards. It was a winning move for me, so I think this match should be counted as cancelled and not as my victory. I hope there is still a way to fix it.
