In the game referenced, once it was clear that one player (me) would win with perfect play, the game just ended, even though the players were technically tied.
That sounds fine as an OPTION. However, new players to D&B could certainly make an error in this situation, and presumably in more subtle instances do. The game should continue until all boxes actually are filled, or at least this should be a clearly defined option (as the turn confirmation), preferably with the default as NOT auto-ending the game with perfect play. -
