When using Young Forest Spirit or Dragon Egg to summon a card in your hand for free, the card summoned for free is not included in the end of game statistics for Fire Summons, Water Summons, Earth Summons, Wind Summons, or Dragon Summons.
I have confirmed this via multiple replays, this example shows dragon egg summoning willow, then later using Aeris, 3 cards but stats only show 2. I have other games where I use Young Forest Spirit to free summon Eternity and the game stats show 0 dragon summons. Both cards seem to behave similar for stats.
The cards say "summon" and "free" so they should still count as summons for the stats. • Hvilken browser bruger du?

YFS and the free summon card stay in play. The free summon card gets its full effect so it is certainly a summon. In a typical "no recover" strategy, players will summon 8 cards by round 8 and fill their board. Seeing a full board of 8 cards and only 7 summons in stats seems odd.
YFS can be played more than once in a game using either Asmodeus to recover or Mimic to return from discard pile. I have certainly used YFS 4 times in a game before with Asmodeus to summon something like Valkyrie, Gi-rin, Aeris, Gi-rin. This can skew the stats even more than the typical single use effect.
Also, YFS often summons stuff like Sand Giant for 16+ points on the final round. If the Sand Giant doesn't count as a summon then there is a mismatch with Sand Giant scoring versus summons. If I score a 20 point Sand Giant I must have 5 earth cards in my area so I should have at least 5 Earth summons, but currently it might only show 4.
Finally, Sylph counts both for scoring and there should be agreement between what Sylph scores versus stats.
Argument for Dragon Egg:
Dragon Egg disappears immediately unlike every other card in the game so Dragon Egg + Dragon feels less like 2 summons than YFS or other 2 card combos, but it should still technically count.
My best example would be a player that starts the game with Sylph, which earns 1 for each summon. The scoring from Sylph should agree with the number of summons. It would be hard to explain scoring 8 points on Sylph with only 8 summons in a game because Sylph doesn't count itself for example.
