I have a friend with colourblindness who cannot see the green flash over the standard BGA background when a monster can be beaten, so they always need to take more time to check whether they can defeat a monster, making the game uneven in multiplayer mode. Could you make it something colour-free (e.g. have the border pulse between black and white, or transparent to white, or transparent to black) so that players with any colour vision condition can see it as well, getting the same information as a standard-vision player?
Alternatively, could you at least make the pulsing visible to all players, so that other players can inform them of what's doable? Though I'd prefer the colour-free version, as that would make it equitable in solo play as well. -
