In the rules, there is a special way to attack the dragons.
From rulebook : Dragon spell : In addition to striking, stomping or screaming at the two dragons in the game,
you can try to defeat them with a Dragon Spell.
Here’s how it works: If you collect 3 Adventurer cards that are both all the
same color and consecutive numbers (for example: red 3, 4, 5), you may
discard them to earn 2 dice (instead of 3). If you roll a 6 or higher,
you defeat the dragon. Otherwise you must discard one card as a wound.
Note that this spell can only be played to defeat dragons. • Hvilken browser bruger du?

Acknowledged, this variant could be added as a game option. A decision would need to be made as to whether Enhancements are allowed to be used with a Dragon Spell.

I would think the permanent ones shouldn't be allowed. It's neither a stomp, a strike, nor a scream.

Friendly Bunny ("Use only once to roll 1 extra die in a capture attempt")
Cloak of Darkness ("Add 2 points to all capture attempts")

Wow, that sure would make the lightning bolt a bit overpowered as it would mean a sure success.

If/when the dragon spell variant is implemented, enhancements may not be used with a Dragon Spell, as stated by the game designer on BGG:
