Fast, medium and slow time controls are much too fast for real-time play. I suggest the time added per move is increased.
Current:
'fast_additional_time' => 7,
'medium_additional_time' => 11,
'slow_additional_time' => 18,
Proposed:
'fast_additional_time' => 30,
'medium_additional_time' => 40,
'slow_additional_time' => 50,
These variables (in seconds) can be changed in gameinfos.inc.php• Hvilken browser bruger du?

27. mar 2022 0:30 • It is sadly not this simple. BGA calculates new values automatically from an average of played games, and the values provided in gameinfos.inc.php are only an initial seed for the first few games after launch. See forum.boardgamearena.com/viewtopic.php?t=3777
In fact my gameinfos.inc.php already contains the values you suggest. Altering this further is not under my control as a game developer.

27. mar 2022 3:48 • That's interesting. Using dynamically determined time increments is a great idea, as there are too many games to tune them all to their best time controls manually.
Still, agree with Sammy that controls seem way too short for real-time P.d.D. Could it be that beginner games and/or casual games are pulling the average times down from what is more appropriate??
