It is impossible to undo a move that causes another player to take an action, even when they have not yet taken the action. For example, you might unify two kingdoms, causing another player to collect treasure. The game immediately reverts to that player to decide which treasure to pick up. If the tile placement was a mistake, you have no chance to undo the action.
Obviously you should not be able to undo an action when the other player has already played. But you should still have the chance to confirm your placement, as is usual. -

Rapporthistorik
I've tried to add confirmations before most actions that will give the action to another player to resolve, while at the same time trying to minimize an overabundance of confirmations.
Firstly, because it would make these actions symmetrical with all other player actions. Normally you get the chance to check your placement was correct, so it feels surprising when you can't correct a mistake in this one situation. Particularly because you don't always realise when a placement is going to lead to this situation.
And I don't think it would feel like an overabundance of confirmations – as I say it would just feel equivalent to any other turn when you get a chance to look over your decision before it goes through. So I think it would make the experience feel smoother rather than more fiddly.
Anyway, obviously I respect your decision either way, but as it stands I'm definitely going to stress a little more every time I place a tile.
