I wanted to claim route from Saint Luis to Pittsburg, I had 4 green trains and 4 multi colour ones. The route needs 5 green trains, so I should be able to place 4 greens and 1 multicolour.

On the top of the screen there appeared a red textbox with an error message. It said that I didn't have the required trains to claim that route.

I have analysed this party, the bug seems real.
I have noted an informations that may have an effect : It is a TTR (not 1910) with 5 players and, at begining, 2 players quit the game (move 2 and 4)
I have seen 41 times the "Not enough train cars left to claim the route." error message in the log.
The problem occurs after move 200, Dorisonek123 had 3 greens and 4 locos, so enough train cards to do a route for 5 green cards (Saint Louis to Pittsburg).
Later he will have 4 greens and always locos. It was also no possible to do the route.
Or Dorisonek123 clicked in another part of the map needing more than 4 cards but it was the end of the party and Dorisonek123 need to do this Saint Louis to Pittsburg route...

Near the end of a party, with enough cards of one color + locomotives (jockers) we can't claim a route.
I have made the same mistake twice....
Dorisonek123 had only 3 train cars to play at the End and he had also a lot of cards in hand.
He can’t play a route of 4 or 5 cards with only 3 train cars.
So you can close also this bug with the ”notabug” status.
Can you provide the table# to verify thats bug ?
Extremely frustrating and I'm not going to be playing online anymore, absolute waste of my time.

My internet connection was stable.
I was playing on an iPad, therefore F5 was not an available option.
Once the problem started, it did not stop.
I am not certain whether other players were affected, but they didn’t appear to be.
As this was the first time it had happened to me, I didn’t think to take any screenshots.

J'ai eu le problème suivant : je ne pouvais prendre une route incolore qu'avec des locos.
Le problème s'est manifesté pour la première fois au coup 34 lorsque j'ai pris Dallas - Houston, le système a choisi pour moi de jouer une loco et ensuite c'était systématique : toute route incolore était prise par des locos.
Ainsi, je n'ai pas pu prendre la route Winnipeg - Sault St Marie alors que j'avais 6 wagons jaunes mais "seulement" 4 locos.
En revanche, quand je choisissais une route avec deux couleurs, j'avais le choix de la couleur pourvu que j'ai les cartes ad hoc.
C'est la première fois que je rencontre ce souci. Je n'ai pas pensé à recharger la page, tant pis.
Cliquiez vous sur l'une de vos cartes wagon en main afin de choisir la couleur, avant de cliquer sur la route grise à construire avec cette couleur choisie ?
Si vous ne choisissez pas la couleur avant de dire où construire pourquoi TTR n'utiliserait pas la couleur jocker/locomotive puisque l'on ne lui a rien précisé !

The problem seems to exist looking the table from David!
Till #110 move to the end (#155 move), David had the possibility to build the Denver to OC route with its 2 reds and 2 locomotives, but I suppose he can’t because he takes new unusefull visible train-cars cards in the lasts moves.
But I have a question for David, to build the Denver to OC route, do you select the red cards before selecting the route?
Maybe TTR wants to build the road with only one color and it chooses the Joker color!

When you want to build the Portland to LA road, do you select first the green trains cards before and then clic on the road ?
It is the rule in TTR : only 1 of the 2 routes of a double route can be built at 2 or 3 players !
Also usually the issue with not being able to claim a route usually comes down to the fact you usually don't have enough trains to lay down on the route (i.e .near the end of the game). This usually is the case. Obviously not saying BGA has some issues with it but a good percentage of the time it is usually due to operator error (Having enough cards but not enough trains to lay/claim the route).
At which move numbers do you try to build this route?

A ton dernier coup, le 225e ? Je ne vois pas l’intérêt. Ce que tu as joué était mieux, cela a fait plus de points (4 au lieu de 2) surtout que tu avais déjà le bonus du plus long chemin.
Pour construire ta route, as-tu sélectionné la couleur rouge dans tes cartes avant de sélectionner la route ?

You lose because you were out of time, so the other player skips your turn.
I don't understand why you try to build NY - Washington with 2 Orange.
It was your last turn, it was better to play 3 Orange or 3 Yellow to have 4 points that is better than only 2 point.
The 10 point bonus were already to the other player with more train cars in its longer route.
About playing the 2 Orange:
- Have you selected first, the Orange cards in your hand before chosing the route ?
- Have you tried to zoom to have a better view of the route you want to select ?
I was able to select routes on other side of map (that I didn’t want) and new train cards, and new destinations. Server had previously been slow, for my opponent too.
Opponent suggested we abandon game, which we did do.

I try clicking on any valid route and nothing happens.
I've been stuck like this for at least a day. I don't want to quit the game.
Have you tried to reload the table doing Control-F5, or to use in private mode, or from another browser, or another device to know if it's a cache issue ?

Can you explain where you want to build a route with 1 wagon ?
The 2 tracks always available (at West-North) were already taken by you. You can't build a second time a double route!
You play a lot to TTR... What is the table# and move# when you encounter this problem ?
I timed out so chose 2 random cards to end my turn and it let me claim the route the next turn
Sometimes that turn can make the difference when you need a route though
I did input that on the reporting a bug form but I see it may be needed here too
When you want to build Omaha - Chicago, you have the 3 blues but no more the rainbow card already used to build Denver - Omaha !
It is why you can't claim the blue route of 4.
You chose to take 2 random cards and a rainbow card is present permitting to build at next move the route of 4 blues.
I checked and double checked as was so confused as to why it didn’t work
