doubleseven
Double Seven is a modern twist on classic rummy-style gameplay. You want to collect large sets of animals to score, but you're not too picky about which animals you collect, trading sets with other players in order to get ones that you can grow.
When expanding a family, if you bring it up to seven or more tiles, claim a 7 token from the reserve. The second time you claim a 7 token, take the 77 token as well, after which each other player takes a final turn.
Score 1 point per tile in front of you on the table, as well as 1 point per 7 on tokens you've claimed. Whoever has the most points wins.

Spilsammenfatning
Double Seven
Concept
In Double Seven, players collect animal families. By placing, expanding, and swapping tiles, you aim to form groups of identical animals. The goal is to be the first to complete two families of at least 7 animals each to secure bonus tokens.
Components
- 91 Tiles (8 animal families of 11 tiles each + 3 Clovers as wilds)
- 8 Seven Tokens
- 1 Double Seven Token
Setup
- Mix all tiles face down in the center of the table.
- Each player takes a rack and 3 random starting tiles (kept secret).
- Place the Seven Tokens and the Double Seven Token nearby.
Gameplay
Before each turn, ensure at least 1 tile is face up in the center; if not, flip one over.
1. Draw Tiles
Take 2 tiles from the center (face-up or face-down).
- Empty Rack: If you start your turn with no tiles on your rack, take 3 tiles instead.
- Rainbow Bonus: If you have at least 5 different animal species on your rack after drawing, show them and immediately draw 1 additional tile (once per turn).
2. Actions
Perform as many actions as you like in any order:
- Start a Family: Place at least 2 identical animals (or animal + wild) in front of you. You may only have one family per animal species.
- Expand: Add matching animals or wilds to your existing families.
- Exchange: Swap one of your families for an opponent's family of the exact same size.
- Snatch a Clover: Replace a wild tile in any family (yours or an opponent's) with the matching animal from your rack. Take the wild tile to your rack.
- Two for One: Once per turn, discard 2 tiles from your rack face-up to the center to take 1 other tile.
3. End of Turn
End your turn by saying Pass.
- Hand Limit: If you have 6 or more tiles on your rack, you must remove one from the game entirely.
- Clear! Bonus: If your rack is completely empty, say Clear to draw 3 tiles in your next turn.
Achievements
- Seven!: When a family reaches a size of at least 7 tiles, take a Seven Token.
- Double Seven!: The first player to bring a second family to at least 7 tiles takes the Double Seven Token. This triggers the end of the game.
Game End & Scoring
The game ends after the round in which the Double Seven Token is claimed or the last tile is drawn. All other players take one final turn.
